Keeping
in view the vast untapped potential of the bamboo sector
and in order to boost value addiction of bamboo resources
in the country, the Indian Plywood Industries Research
and Training Istitute (IPIRTI) was successfully organized
a two-day International Conferences on Bamboo Composites
at IPIRTI Conference Hall, Bangalore, India. This was
a post workshop as a sequel to the five-day World Bamboo
Workshop organized at Imphal, Manipur, India.
The conference was illuminated with international and
national and chalked out the strategies for the sustainable
growth of the bamboo industry and disseminated the information
on the latest advances and future opportunities for the
